Selection
In the process of hiring foreign workers from Asia and North Africa special attention is paid to quality selection in order to ensure that the selected candidates meet the necessary conditions and standards of work in Serbia. Our expert team implements comprehensive procedures to ensure the expertise of the workers. The expert team conducts the interview to form its own impression of the candidate. This step enables the assessment of communication skills, motivation to work in Serbia and, in general, how the candidate will fit into the work environment. Candidates’ work experience is carefully checked to confirm their expertise and previous work experience. This is a key step in ensuring that the selected candidates have the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform their work tasks. Candidates undergo specific tests related to the position to determine their practical knowledge and skills. After a successful selection, the expert team provides support to the candidates in preparing all the necessary documents for their arrival in Serbia.
Obtaining residence and work permits
The process of obtaining work permits in Serbia for foreign workers requires cooperation between the employer, the employment agency and relevant institutions such as the National Employment Service (NSZ) and the Ministry of Interior Affairs (MUP). With detailed monitoring of these steps, we can only insure the legal and safe arrival of foreign workers in Serbia, in order to perform the jobs for which they apply, with the full realization of their rights from the employment relationship according to domestic legislation.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
From which countries do foreign workers come?
Our workers come from Asia and South Africa. Our expert team of agents, with whom we have been working for many years, successfully finds workers in accordance with the employer’s requirements.
What is the process of obtaining a residence and work permit?
The employer must first meet the requirements of the National Employment Service, which concern the labor market test, in order to obtain a residence and work permit for a foreigner. If the employer receives a positive opinion from the NSZ, the request for obtaining a residence and work permit for a foreigner is submitted to the MUP. After receiving the work permit, our agents submit a request for a visa (if a foreigner needs a visa to enter Serbia). The final step is buying a plane ticket and arriving to Serbia.
What are the employer's costs, aside of service fee?
In the first application for a VISA, electronically, the future employer does not have any additional costs.
Who covers the other costs?
The costs of the visa and the workers’ arrival in Serbia are covered by the agency.
What affects the speed of arrival of workers?
Several factors influence the speed of arrival of workers, and we will list the most important ones:
- cooperation between the employer and the agency, regular communication and promptness;
- waiting for documents from the institutions: positive opinion of the NSZ, issuance of permits for residence and work of the MUP and issuance of visas
Who is obliged to provide accommodation for a foreign worker?
When drawing up a preliminary employment contract, the employer has the obligation to find suitable accommodation for the employee, which can be single or shared, and the quality of the accommodation itself depends on the employer’s ability and desire.
